If :track raced then 0-30 or 40, iirc. :I'm still struggling with the logic and haven't read the article for awhile, :but it is worth reading. I don't think that's correct - not all oil is too thick at start-up. A 0-weight, such as 0w-40 is thinner than let's say, a 10w-40 at start-up, correct me if I'm wrong. Once up to operating temperature, THEN they're the same weight. And I wouldn't run a 0w-20 for the 300zx...they're mostly for Honda's such as Civics, and hybrids, the biggest benefit being fuel efficiency. For a tt, I would recommend german castrol (0w-30, but it's closer to a 40-weight), mobil 1 0w-40 (but this has a tendency to shear down to a 30-weight), or redline 5w-40 (this is a little bit pricey).
